INTERMEDIATE PHOTOGRAPHY This is a five session 2 hours each course. This class is designed to push you to develop your personal photography style and employ photographic principles to achieve greater aesthetic and creative goals. Photographers will need a digital camera with manual setting capability; a tripod, and some kind of light source (flash, or reflector and stands). There will be class room work and take-home assignments, so be prepared to return with your recent samples for classroom critique. The goal is to push you to be a better photographer and for you to learn to push yourself. Class size limited to 10. This course will be covering: -more advanced composition theory and understanding photography as an art form. -controlling and using ambient light, use of various lighting sources and equipment. -a greater examination of various lenses and what they do. Also we will revisit the use of aperatures and shutter speeds and how they can be used to create more interesting photos. -Completion of this course will give students a much better grasp of their equipment, composition and your own creative control to produce more powerful images. Hands-on coaching is not included in this class though class time is given for questions and review. Study materials included.
