BUILD A GREAT PORTFOLIO & CULTIVATE CLIENTS

This is a 5 session 3 hour advanced and intensive course on the finer points of building a great portfolio that will get commercial advertising, product and editorial business. The Internet has changed a lot, but great imagery and presentation is still a must along with face time with potential clients. Attention is given to many different aspects of marketing including social media, identifying your markets and setting up client appointments, advertising and branding, product, and actual presentation. Attention is also given to current copyright issues and protecting yourself, quoting a job and actual client relations. Photographers should already have a high level grasp of their equipment, and their own style. Class participation is a must so come prepared. Class size limited to 10. This course will be covering:

-building a great portfolio presentation that will get attention and jobs.

-marketing methods including social media, identifying markets you want to work in, cold calling and making client appointments & presentations.

-the business aspects of cultivating and winning clients and learning learning what they are looking for.

-one session on portfolio presentation, review and critique.

-Completion of this course will give you resources, inspiration and the understanding of marketing yourself and winning the kind of jobs you want as a photographer.
