Somewhere on the Mississippi around the turn of the century, When I finally caught up with Mr. Twain, he was on the River Queen gambling and entertaining the passengers with his singular wit and wisdom. I had a tough time persuading him to sit for my photograph, until one of the other card players called his bluff. Mark stood, and with a wry smile on his face said, "Well, I know when to run..."
