Your wedding day is your day to celebrate with your new spouse. Don't let anyting get in the way of enjoying it and making the most of your celebration with family and friends. I have been to a lot of weddings where something went wrong: someone mis-places a ring, or and embarrassing moment when the gown slips down, or someone shows up very late. Make your mind up right now that you are going to have a lot of fun and enjoy every moment. Whatever comes, just roll with it. Be spontaneous and worry free! Loose a ring, use a paper clip until you can locate the real one. If something happens that is embarrassing, laugh at yourself, and fix it. The photographs will be far better of you laughing and enjoying the moment, than panic and whatever else may follow. Perfect days are made more with fun and celebration than having everything letter perfect. Even the mistakes and problems that are overcome with a quick laugh or a make-do will have more meaning and enjoyment in the years to come because you learned from the beginning to roll with the punches. Nothing is ever perfect. But things can always be great. And as your photographer, one thing that I get to do before anyone else is congratulate you. Let the moment be great and wonderous for you and let the other things go. The couples that do that really celebrate and enjoy the moment. And Congratulations! |
